Rude clerk would not rekey my key
I have been staying in at extended stays for a few years now. usually 2-8 weeks at a time. My check out date was the 26 and my key stopped working 5-24-14 and I returned to the front dest to make a key and the clerk by the name of BEL working under ***. MANAGER MARGARET VILLARREAL REFUSED TO FIX MY KEY! Our company reserved our rooms, and we filled out the info and I signed for it. my wallet was in my room so i couldnt get to it. I gave her the info and she did not want to rekey my key because i was not the president of the company. after raising *** with the clerk and let her know i was reporting her she finally gave me the key but she refused to give me her info so i can make a formal report. i returned to my room and got my ID and showed it to her. She said I still was not the person who reserved which was the president of the company. I asked her to check the signatures and the check out date she refused I got pissed and she seen that. She checked the signatures and they all matched my ID. She just kept being rude.. Also the guest where not able to wash clothes because the Hotel CLERK BEL was using the laundry room for the guest to wash the linens, as much as i stayed at Extended Stay America I know they have their own laundry room for the hotel linens. I have also attached her picture and the picture of her manager. I wish nobody has to go through what I went through after staying here for weeks!

Stayed at the extended stay at 241 arboretum place richmond va while at work someone came in my room and stole some items so I would not stay here ever are take everything with you I'm down her working of a couple of months and can't even trust to leave your things in a room

I came from Ohio to Columbia s.c. 3am check in room I had food I bought from store to cook there's no plates cups forks microwave coffee maker nobs on oven falling off it wast terrible stay

Worst Experience in the last 100 Hotels I have stayed at as a traveler!
When I arrived to my room here is what I found: 1. Hair in the bathroom sink 2. Dirty Kitchen like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. 3. The air conditioner was broken - no *** and did not cool at all. 4. The bed was stained and the least comfortable bed I have ever been in to try and sleep. 5. On the second day the phone didn't work anymore (IMagine that it stopped working after I called the front desk to complain that they had not given me the wifi connection and when I couldn't get the front desk person because she was on a call with her friend I got an answering service. They promised they would call me back with the information, and what I actually received was no call at all.) 6. Burnt out electrical nearly burned up my laptop (be careful if you have anything of value you want to plug-in to an outlet at this hotel) 7. After all this you have to ask for Shampoo and Conditioner. This hotel has absolutely no customer service. I would recommend ANY HOTEL OTHER THAN THIS ONE! ANY HOTEL.

My husband and I arrived at extended stay america in Durham N.C. on 4610 S Miami Blvd. First thing young lady at the desk seem like she did not want to be there. everyone have bad day, I ignor it, we started to our room looking at the carpet on the floor it was horrible and very nasty. the room we was to have it had not been clean at all. So my husband and I went back down to the desk she check us into another room. the room look clean but there was a lot wrong with it, no pots, pans, skillet etc. everything in that hotel needs to be replaced the furnitures kitchen, bathroom, micowave, The desk clerks at the front desk need more training. I will never, never, stay in these hotels again.

Extended Stay Hotel - Sanitary Conditions Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania
Just checked in to smiling staff, get to second floor, a stomach of what smells like dead animals and humans. No air in hall so add the heat and stained carpet all through, REGURGITATING! I asked for a refund any the front desk staff laughed and said she is sick of people checking in after watching phony commercial with celebrity chef, then getting upset and asking for a refund. We have to wait on a mailed refund and are forced to stay here as we have no extra funds for double paying hotels. My husband is a transplant patient who needs sanitary conditions. And I have tissue disease with a low immune system as well. We have to cover our noses with scares. The towels are blood stained, dirty blanket, cigarette ashes all over ac and bath. Elevator has cigarette butts, bugs and dried blood on floor. Please help us someone, please!!! 2541 Corporate Dr Memphis TN 504564**** Hart Family. If we can't get more money By tomorrow, we will sleep in car. Corporate, celebrity spokeswoman please help us!

Extended Stay of America Terrible Place with BEDBUGS!!
This place was horrible. The first thing that was noticed was the smell of the room, we had to purchase room deodorizer. It was hot, the A/C did not cool the room well enough to be comfortable. You could almost see through the towels, and felt the room felt unclean (I didn't even walk around without shoes on). But that's not the worst of it...my sister and I both came home with BEDBUG bites. After getting home I looked up other reviews and found many people complaining of BEDBUGS since 2012. How does a place like this stay open??? The health department should close them down. DO NOT STAY at this facility.

Nothing in kitchen. not even coffee maker !!!
I stay in this hotel specifically because it has a kitchen which is stocked with all necessary cooking items and dishes. I arrived to find nothing in the kitchen , not even a coffee maker ! They gave me one to use and it didnโt work. I was very upset. This is false advertising and a total rip off. I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel and had a complete breakfast included for the price I was charged for this dump! It was at 11252 Lone Eagle Dr. St. Louis airport area. Staff was friendly but that's about it!

Fridge Died, and food lost!
My fridge died, it is warm inside. Complained and they said they would be here soon, except they are fixing all the locks and have to finish that first. Why is that more important than my food? Been on hold for 45 min trying to complain to corporate office. Wonder if they know I am writing bad reviews till they answer. Upstairs neighbors are loud, does no good to complain, i don't think the hotel bothered to put any insullation...but they want the money Staff is unable to articulate the rate scheme, bill changes all the time. Have to watch them like a hawk.

Being discrimanating
I would like to know why I'm being asked to put my kids on the bus behind the building I was told by the manager that my kids are not to be in the lobby to be picked up or dropped off I pay almost $900:00. A month to stay here and I think it is so wrong that I'm being treated this way I'm about to get my money back and go else where I've been here for three months and I never thought about treated this way so how would I go about getting my money back for this month and going to another hotel thank you

AVOID AVOID AVOID
Stay away. I was in this hotel for 4 weeks. The police was here almost every day as well as the fire and rescue. The walls are paper thin with the a interesting guest clientele. Management staff was the worst. Avoid this hotel. With the thousand of hotels that I have been in over the past twenty eight years, this one is one of the worst in service, personnel, and no class. Please avoid this dump. The hallway trash can overflow with the trash the entire time. It smelled and rude employees. The management staff was even worst than the unfriendly staff. PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL. Do not mistake the location near the mall that this hotel is okay. Multiple police cars was the normal here and this was on a day to day basis during the morning, noon and night. My best guest that I have been in 80 difference cities and four continents and this hotel ranks one of the worst. I would advise that anyone go to some other hotel and pay the difference. This hotel offers the under the bottom of the barrel in service, by management and overall my top 5 of my worst hotels in the world. About other things, the television is terrible with only getting very few channels. I went to management and ask for a change and I was insulted by my response of 'LIVE WITH IT OR GO'. Very low grade and class hotel. For the thousand of readers of my reviews. PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL AND PAY THE FEW DOLLARS DIFFERENCE AND STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. The best thing about this hotel was me leaving.

Overcharged 575 after checkout
I needed somewhere to stay for a month so I decided to stay with extended stay america hotels.I called the toll free number and I was informed by the reservations department that the minium stay was a month and that it would be 1,300.00, so I said that I would take the room for the month. I checked in march 5th 2013 and checked out april 4th 2013, at the time of the the check in I was informed that if i stayed past a month that I might be charged extra but were unsure how much and were also told that they had construction going on in the building that if it was any trouble to let them know and not to worry about it. I went out and bought 300$ worth of food and things i would need for the next month(soap,sponges, trash bags, ziplock bags, etc... I got a total of 6 hours of sleep when i was there for the first week because of all the drilling and pounding with every call to the front desk basically being ignored i figured id try to fall asleap with my head phones, no luck because i was on the 3rd floor. So I asked to be moved to a lower floor and was scoffed at and told that she was unable to change my room because I made my reservation using their toll free number that they couldn't change rooms that it was out of their hands. When I asked for a refund i was laughed at and told you already booked it through the phone not the actual property that it was yet again out of their hands. So I left after 2 weeks and stayed with family because i was unable to sleep or obtain any kind of courtesy from the front desk only coming back when i had no where else to go for a night.Thank the good lord it was pouring rain because its the only night I slept good. Its their policy that your stay would make you feel RIGHT AT HOME! I can honestly say that i've never had a worse stay than this one at the extended stay america 3050 Schoenersville Rd Bethlehem, PA 18017. After checking out my checking account was charged another 575 dollars or so. I went down to my bank and was told that it might just be a hold for security reasons and to call them and ask what was going on, so I did. I was told that the manager had left for the day and that they didn't know why I was being charged anything extra or why it was 2 seperate charges that if I left a contact number the manager would call back the next morning. I never recieved a call back, so I called back the next day and was told that I reserved the room for 60 days and that because I checked out early that I was being charged the regular room rate of 1875.00 a month. I reserved a room for 30 days and didn't even want to stay more than 2 weeks to begin with but since 30 days was their minimum I decided to just settle and do the 30 days. I did not feel right at home, I did not have a comfortable stay, and couldn't sleep! Can anyone guess what I was told AFTER I DROVE OVER 2 1/2 HOURS FROM JERSEY AND BACK TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN PERSON? "You booked online and we cant do anything about it" I never booked online!!! The only thing I did was inquire about availibility over the phone! Im upset that my stay was horrible and I have called corperate and got no where, I was directed to call the hotel and the hotel directs me to corperate. I have gotten no where. Very shady business practices is all I can say. All who read this be forwarned, NOT TO STAY AT EXTENDED STAY!!! When all i asked for was not to be charged any extra when i had a horrible stay and to be fair and they showed not the slightest bit of compassion or understanding about my comfort or inconvenience.

Horrible Hotel Experience
This was the worst hotel experience in my lifetime!!! The attention to detail was extremely poor. The concern for guest healthy and safety was ignore. Although, some of the staff were good management is poor. District management is unresponsive. The location is OK but the experience is horrible. I put my own Mother in this place and should have known better after the reservation experience. I actually went downhill from there. Not only would I not recommend this company or location I warn you against them. Do yourself and anyone you know a favor and avoid at least, this location at all costs.

Worse Hotel Ever
1. I stayed at the Waushkesha, WI hotel. Pretty worn out. There is no customer service at all. The rooms are cleaned once a week, no room service at all, they won even give you soap for *** week. You have to empty your own trash. Room smells like a dog kennel. Please don't even think about staying in these hotels. 2. Este hotel es el peor que he visto en toda mi vida. El servicio es pesimo. Los curators los limpian una vez a la semana, y apestan. Hay ormigas en el la alfombra. No hay sevicio de cuarto, no te dan ni siqyuiera jabon de bano por una semana.

Bill is impossible to interpret
We stayed at Extended Stay America Miami/Coral Gables and reserved three nights (May 9, 10, and 11) at the "senior" rate. Because our dog became ill on May 10, we had to add May 12, 13, 14, and 15. When we added those days, the cost of the room was raised! We were told that the corporation made that decision. The staff there were extremely polite and helpful but even they had trouble dealing with the bill because we had to add days and delete the cost for the pet fee. We still do not understand the bill and will probably dispute it. Our complaint is two-fold: impossible bill and raised cost of room.
